See something suspicious? This was shot at the I’m a photographer, not a terrorist event / flashmob / protest thing last Saturday. Despite the thousands of photographers who turned out it was a fairly quiet but jolly occasion and there wasn’t a lot of incident. At one point the National Gallery security decided it would be a good idea to prevent people taking pictures from the portico – normally a good vantage point for tourists taking pictures of Trafalgar Square. Of course, this action didn’t go unnoticed and only encouraged the eager photographers to flock to the steps. Eventually the security guys gave up and closed the entrance. You can see lots more pictures in the flickr pool, including me (snapped accidentally by Cory Doctorow, fame at last) and another one of mine. [Pic]
