Hi Did you know you’re on the front page of http://www.lomography.com? Do you own a Lomo camera i.e. one of the Russian ones? and what do you think of the movemnet of lomography. There was aBBC Four prog the other day inwhihc it came across as hip happening young movement in Photography, but http://www.lomography.com has a definite commercial side I’m not sure about.
Hi
I’ve got a supersampler (pictures here: http://www.gaspweb.co.uk/categories/supersampler/ ). I saw the B4 programme awhile ago and I sympathise with the ‘don’t think shoot’ attitude but you don’t need a lomo camera to use it. There is hype and you may find some of the cameras the lomography.com people sell cheaper elsewhere. Alternatively, you can run a photoshop action on your pristine hi-res digital shots for the lomo look (dead link removed). None of this matters much if you keep reminding yourself that your pictures are more important than the tools you use.
